How did the Light in the Fog event begin?

Puppers was the first person I ever began to watch regularly when I learned about Dead by Daylight. He was my comfort streamer, although I never chatted. His streams helped me sleep, and he was a pillar to my continuation of playing the game. Without him, I don’t believe that I would be where I am today.

When I learned about Puppers’ ALS diagnosis, I could not stop thinking about it. It was consuming me with how depressed I was, particularly because no one had been developing a way to support him. Being a Fog Whisperer and a huge influence within so many this community, I could not let him go through this tragic time without having as much support as possible.

I contacted content creators, I reached out to Puppers’ moderation team, I emailed BHVR, and we started to all work together to make this a reality. Without the support of an incredible admin team, I don’t believe this event would have been as successful as it has been.

Although I’ve had to take some time away from other hobbies and things I love to do, such as drawing for streamers, I’ve had the opportunity to grow in so many other ways, professionally with my art, and as an administrator with organizational experiences. I’ve gotten to learn different skills with my art, being one of the artists for this event. This is a showcase of some of the pieces I’ve worked on to help bring the event together!
